The role will be in-charge of Singapore and Brunei, and will be reporting directly to the Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA) Manager.

 

The position
As a Communications Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate with commercial teams and external stakeholders to develop and execute public affairs workplans. 
  • Engage with media, and create compelling content for press releases, media kits, and corporate communications.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with advocacy stakeholders and patient organizations.
  • Engage in policy and decision-making processes through research and stakeholder engagement while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and Novo Nordisk’s Business Ethics framework.
  • Oversee internal communications and track budgets to secure funding for initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • A graduate qualification in Media & Communications, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or Policy Studies. A postgraduate qualification in health economics, public health, public policy, or marketing is nice to have.
  • Must have 4-7 years of working experience in media and communication, preferably with experience in both the private and public sectors.
  • Adequate knowledge of media and external communications in healthcare-related organizations, with strong content creation experience (writing, editing, developing key messages, etc.).
  • Should be able to independently manage day-to-day communication tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, with internal and/or external communications experience.
