The position

You will be responsible for ensuring Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and their fulfilment in specified CIS Emerging Markets (CEM) countries, in accordance with Novo Nordisk and local requirements. As the Quality Assurance Specialist you will carry out and maintain all relevant processes  to ensure NN and different regulations compliance in QMS area. Position is based in Almaty. You will report to Quality Assurance Manager CEM.


Your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring availability of Quality permission documents in Kazakhstan. Perform local batch certification (Quality and Safety Assessment) of all imported NN drug products and medical devices per Kazakhstani requirements
  • Ensuring proper GxP documentation management in the CEM region. Coordinate approval of Quality documents (standard operational procedures also known as SOPs, instructions, forms etc.) provided by document owner and/or content responsible,.
  • Act as a Training Coordinator. To assign/remove training per approved Job description
  • Coordinate Change control, Deviations processes as a Change responsible or Deviation/Action responsible.
  • Responsible for Records management. Archiving, retention responsible, Maintaining the overview of local external quality requirements applicable to CEM
  • Understanding of validation and qualification processes, qualification vendors
  • Responsible for Recall process.

 

 

Qualifications
We expect that you to hold Bachelor or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, chemistry or other related field. You are driven, can take initiative, and are agile in actions. Your personality is aligned with our Novo Nordisk Compliance Way, and you have upper intermediate knowledge in both written and spoken English. As well as you would have to have:

  • Minimum 1-year working experience in in QA or QC division,  preferable with medicine’s production
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical market and its regulations
  • Experience with and affinity to MS Office programmes and IT systems
  • High level of work ethic
  • High level of discipline and attention to good documentation
  • Ability to work efficiently within given autonomy
  • Proactive approach to given tasks and possible improvements
