Are you ready to lead a dynamic project organization? Do you have a strong background in Finished Production operations, project execution, and stakeholder management? If so, you could be the passionate and experienced Director, Operational Readiness for our project in Odense.

 

The Position
As the Director, Operational Readiness, you will play a key role in preparing our future Finished Production (FP) manufacturing site in Odense for operational success. Your leadership will facilitate a seamless transition from project completion to full operational functionality, and you will be responsible for implementing global standards in close collaboration with various stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Working closely with the operational teams responsible for these duties and the central organization dedicated to upholding performance standards post-handover. 
  • Lead and develop teams focused on implementing standards, ramp-up, quality assurance, training, and Lean methodologies to achieve operational excellence.
  • Providing direction, support, and motivation to your team members while fostering a collaborative environment. 
  • Balance people management and drive effective project management and execution, clearly defining goals and ensuring stringent monitoring of quality, schedule, and budget.

 

Additionally, you will cultivate relationships across various organizational levels, ensuring robust communication regarding strategies, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities.

 

Your work location will be in Odense.

 

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

 

  • Extensive experience in assembly and packaging production environments, particularly in ramping up or establishing new equipment.
  • A proven track record in project execution and effective stakeholder management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make strategic decisions based on data-driven insights.
  • A solid understanding of Lean principles, with demonstrated experience in implementing and sustaining operational standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership skills that empower you to motivate and coach team members.

 

About the Department
You will join the Fill & Finish Expansion (FFEX) team, a group dedicated to building the factories of the future. Our dynamic and innovative environment provides ample opportunities for professional growth and development. 
Currently, we are expanding our production capabilities to reach more patients by constructing a new facility in Tietgenbyen in Odense. This project is part of a broader initiative encompassing various activities worldwide, all within our Fill and Finish Expansion program (FFEx).
