Are you an accomplished leader with deep expertise in medical affairs or drug development and a passion for driving innovation in healthcare? Reports to: Corporate Vice President, Global Medical Affairs, Evidence & Insights 

 

The position 

As the Vice President, Evidence & Partnerships, you will head up our newly established VP area, Evidence & Partnerships, which includes Public Private Partnerships, Insights and Evidence Strategy, and global strategies for Real-World Evidence and Investigator Sponsored Studies across therapy areas. 

Your main responsibility will be to:   

  • Lead the Integrated Evidence Planning Process across Global, US Operations, and International Operations. 

  • Orchestrate real-world evidence (RWE) strategies across the product portfolio. 

  • Lead the Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS) portfolio. 

  • Oversee and lead all Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) spanning across the company. 

  • Manage the budget for evidence generation activities, including RWE, ISS, and PPP. 

You will be working across a variety of internal and external stakeholders building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure impactful strategies for evidence generation as well as promoting Novo Nordisk’s scientific leadership and credibility on a global scale. 

 

Qualifications 

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic leader with the following qualifications: 

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in medical affairs or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry. 

  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple teams and driving strategic initiatives. 

  • Strong expertise in evidence generation and scientific communication. 

  • Adept at setting long-term goals and inspiring diverse teams to achieve impactful results aligned with organizational objectives. 

  • Proficient in communicating complex messages in a compelling, confident manner to Senior Management and a broad range of in & external stakeholders. 

  • Skilled in leveraging clinical trial data, RWE, and medical insights to drive data-driven decision-making. 

  • Ability to navigate complex, evolving medical and regulatory landscapes and lead change effectively. 

We are looking for a VP, Evidence & Partnerships who leads, inspires, and engages through role modelling and impactful communication. You are bold and ambitious with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and you understand the importance of showing the way yourself when things need to be done in a new way. 

 

About the department 

You will be a member of the CVP-leadership team in GMA Evidence & Insights. The CVP area includes Evidence & Partnerships, Patient Voice, and Digital Transformation.
