Your new role

We are looking for a student who is motivated by and enjoys analyzing data, problem conceptualization and developing tools to improve data visualization. So, what will you do?

  • Develop,improve new/current software tools to automate manual business operations.
  • Perform data analysis to locate, understand, utilize and visualize business process data.
  • Learn and use tools like Alterix, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerApps, etc.

Since the nature of the job is student based, you will also have the opportunity to develop and learn how to apply your knowledge from your academic degree into real-world applications. Furthermore, you will gain experience in working in a global company, manufacturing environment and how data can be utilized with the current trend of industry 4.0. Therefore, you will be part of an organization that values creativity, innovation and the ability to work with people with different backgrounds.

 

Your new department

You will be a part of the Novo Nordisk Insulin production, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (PS API) and assigned to Manufacturing 1 (M1), the world’s largest Insulin Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing facility located in Kalundborg with fermentation, recovery, purification and utilities production under the same roof. You will be employed in M1 Bioprocess Improvement-Optimization (M1BIO), a group of 8 highly skilled colleagues plus MSc students all working with advanced mathematical modelling for improvement and optimization of biochemical and business processes. Your skills & qualifications

The candidate should have the following or developing qualifications:

  • Studying within the field of digital design or business analytics
  • Enrolled in BSc or MSc program (at least 2 semesters left) within a Danish university
  • Understanding of common programming languages, e.g. python. NBWe postulate that if you don’t know a specific language and know another, you can learn
  • Understanding of basic data analytics and its visualization as well as databases.
