part-time Process Engineers who wants to combine education and
experience. What does this translate into? The degree will span
for four years combining both a typical MSc education taught by
the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Kalundborg, and
industry experience at Novo Nordisk.
About the Industry Master of Science in Engineering within Biomanufacturing
As a student on the Biomanufacturing study line, you will play
an essential part in the fast-expanding industry of chemical and
biochemical production in Kalundborg.
During your time of study, you will become an expert in process thinking and work with chemistry and biochemistry at an industrial scale. Taught by leading experts and professors, you will learn to run a factory and work with all the industrial processes – from development and improvements to embedding new technology and digitalized optimizations. You will gain strong engineering knowledge as well as an innovative mindset.
Do you have a BSc/BEng within chemical engineering, process engineering or similar? Have you recently graduated and perhaps some years of work experience? And are you interested in combining a part time position as a Process Engineer with a part time Industrial MSc Degree in Engineering specialising in Biomanufacturing? The programme, as a typical MSc Engineering program, consists of 120 ECTS points over a 4-year period.

The position in Novo Nordisk
At Novo Nordisk we are looking for candidates with focus on or interest in data analysis, process systems and descriptive and prescriptive analytics.
Are you interested in understanding pharmaceutical processes, developing monitoring tools and analysing data for recommendation for improvements? Are you interested in business impact and understanding how interconnected decisions play a crucial role when manufacturing pharmaceuticals? Then you can be one of our Process Engineers at our manufacturing hub in Kalundborg, Denmark.
Specifically, you will:
• Analyse large amounts of data for extracting correlation
and causation for process understanding
• Analyse and
understand data from quality control (QC) analyses
•
Develop, maintain, and recommend statistical process control
charts for process monitoring
• Use a science, data-based
approach for quantifying process deviations
• Use a
team-based approach for recommending process improvements-optimisations
Qualifications for Process Engineers
Process Engineer candidates should have the following or
developing qualifications:
• Meet the requirements to be

• Ability to analyse data and independently
extract information
• An appetite for solving complex
problems applying a systems approach to manage complexity and
reach feasible applicable solution
It is key that you understand how to convey complex
information to varying audiences and thereby explain the purpose
to get everyone onboard. In addition, you should have proficient
oral and written communication skills in English.
