Position
Each day in our team will bring a variety of challenges, from
independently solving tasks to collaborating closely with project
managers and suppliers. The internship will involve support for two
departments focusing on API production.
Project Management/Robotics Department: You will
work alongside 2-3 full-time employees focused on maintaining an
overview of projects aligned with departmental strategic goals. This
includes engaging in dialogues with local management and
collaborating with external partners to enhance innovation.
IT Department: You will assist with duties such as managing
MLOps platforms in collaboration with our System Managers,
configuring and maintaining servers, designing dashboards, and
developing data pipelines.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting the Project Portfolio Manager by tracking project
progress within the production area and preparing project briefs and
steering group materials.
• Maintaining and updating the central information database
through regular reviews and ensuring timely completion of manual
intervention one-pagers.
• Supporting MLOps and data visualization efforts utilizing
Power BI.
• Contributing to the creation of new digital tools and
conducting required analyses.
• Collaborating with various project managers across
initiatives and taking ownership of smaller work packages and sub-tasks.
• Coordinating with stakeholders to gather insights and
supporting the planning and organization of relevant project events
and workshops, as well as contributing to innovation and ideation
efforts within the production area. As an intern, you can expect to
be challenged and contribute to impactful results across the
Kalundborg production site.
Practicalities
• Duration : Full-time internship for 5 months
• Working Hours : 37 hours/week; flexible work hours
• Start Date : September 1, 2025; flexible regarding timing
• Location : Kalundborg, Denmark, with the option for remote work
• A full-time Danish work permit is required.
Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire
internship period. The working hours are flexible enabling you to
combine an internship with lectures at university, project work, or
writing your Bachelor/Master’s thesis.
Qualifications
We are looking for an engineering intern who is passionate about project management, LEAN methodologies, manufacturing processes, and automation. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and be adaptable to new insights. Strong communication skills, the capability to simplify complex information, a good sense of humor, and a preference for agile environments are also highly valued.
To succeed in the role, you need:

• A curious nature or foundational knowledge in areas such as
project management, lean and process optimization, Python, Microsoft
Suite, coding, process mapping, data visualization, IT &
automation, and GMP process understanding.
• you are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
in one of the following fields: Biotechnological Engineering,
Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical
Engineering, Data Science Engineering, or Data Engineering at Danish
university. We expect candidates to thrive in a dynamic
environment, maintain a collaborative spirit, and possess a can-do
attitude. Proficiency in IT applications such as Excel and
PowerPoint are crucial, along with excellent command of the English language.
